Front Desk

The front desk is open each day between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. and can be reached at (970) 949-7071 or info@creeksidebeavercreek.com. We are a very small staff so if nobody immediately picks up, please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

A coffee station is also set out in the lobby during these business hours. It is a Kuerig Machine with various coffees, hot chocolate, and tea.

For any after-hours Creekside emergency, please dial the front desk number and press ‘1’ at the menu prompt. The operator will contact the manager on duty.
*Dial 9-1-1 for any true emergency!*

Property & Building Information

Each condominium is allotted one assigned parking space for their residence and all parking spots are designated by management. We ask that you please use your assigned spot(s) only.

What do you do if you find your spot occupied?

Please DO NOT take another open parking spot, even just temporarily. This can potentially create a snowball effect displacing other guests and owners. If your spot is occupied, alert the front desk at (970) 949-7071. If it’s outside of office hours, please temporarily park in the ’10-minute Loading Zone’ in front of the A Building. We ask that you leave a note on your dashboard or send an email so we are aware. Please be aware that if snow is forecasted, we will need to get you moved quickly in the morning so we can get the driveways plowed.

Extra / Guest Parking

Unfortunately Creekside does not have any designated guest parking. However, extra parking may be available if needed. Please request extra parking through the front desk during business hours. Any extra parking is $30/day.

Trash Chutes and recycling bins are located throughout the building for your convenience. Please seal any bags with the provided zip ties.

A Building Location:

The main A Building trash and recycling area is located in the hallway across from A106 as you walk towards the ski club. There are multiple trash and recycling bins – please obey all signage and place your refuse in the appropriate bin.

B Building Locations:

  • Trash rooms are located on each floor across from the elevator landing. Please place any trash inside the chute and all recycling into the bins, breaking down any boxes.
  • Note for B106 & B107: Unfortunately no chute is available. The best location is in the A Building – Right after you exit the ski club heading towards the lobby, the trash room is immediately on your left.
  • Note for B206 & B207: Recycling is not available on the 2nd floor. The closest recylcing bin is on the 3rd floor, across from the elevators.

If you wish, please call the Front Desk to have trash removed. Do not leave trash outside your condo.

*Please do not bring ski equipment to your codo or wear ski boots throughout the buildings.*

Creekside’s ski storage is located in the first floor between Building A and Building B. The ski out access will be right out back past the hot tub on the creek side of the building while the on-demand shuttle stop for village transportation will be on the driveway/road-side of the building.

Click here for specific ski in/out instructions

You should have received your ski locker(s) assignment upon checkin. You can find the locker assignment(s) as well as code on your checkin paperwork.

Each locker will fit 4 pairs of boots. You’ll notice the tubes inside the lockers – those are boot dryers (not heaters) and they operate on a timer over night so you will not feel air during the day.

Skis are then stored in a communal area behind the sliding doors in the hallway to the B building. (Just around the corner from the lockers.) It is recommended to label your equipment with the provided labels to avoid ‘mistaken’ identity with other owners and guests.

Note that each individual ‘rack’ is designed to fit 2-3 pairs of skis and poles. We do ask that you double-up your equipment so there is enough space for all guests.

FAQ: Should you ski in and out or take the shuttle? That’s up to you! Both are convenient and it will depend on what you’re more comfortable with. The shuttle will be faster to reach the Centennial base area, but the ski paths will be more convenient to those just looking to get right on the hill. If you feel ambitious, it is also a simple 5-8 minute walk [uphill] to that same Centennial base area.

FAQ: How do we get to ski school? The skier shuttle will be the most convenient way. This shuttle will drop you off at Centennial Station where you will see the base of the Centennial Lift. Ski school meets right there! You can technically ski out to the Elkhorn Lift and ski to ski school, but this is actually much harder and you will most likely be very late to your lesson.

Hot Tub / Jacuzzi

The hot tub is open from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 pm. No exceptions! When using the hot tub, please be respectful of those around and keep noise to a minimum. No bluetooth speakers or glass are permitted in this area.

Exercise Room

Several exercise machines and some free weights are located on the second floor crossover between Buildings A and B. (Above the ski club.)

The equipment may be used 24 hours a day, but please keep noise to a minimum at all times. The TV’s are equipped with bluetooth capabilities via an app – instructions are provided and please remember to bring your headphones.

*Remember to sign out of the Peleton when you’re done. Management is not responsible for any profiles.

Game Room & Meeting Space

The game room is located on the first floor of the A Building and is equipped with foosball, a large TV with Xbox, and many board games. The room is available from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and children do not need to be accompanied by an adult. However, we do ask they are respectful by keeping noise to a minimum as well as keeping the game room clean and tidy.

The small meeting space is also available to all guests. This space can be reserved, but needs to be requested at least 48 hours in advance so we can notify other owners and guests.

Mail & Shipping Instructions for Creekside

Packages may be sent to Creekside via UPS or Fedex only. The delivery address is 1156 Village Rd, Avon, CO 81620. USPS will not ship to this address – please do not use the Postal Service. If you are unsure of the carrier, it is best to select expidited shipping during checkout as this tends to be (but not guaranteed!) UPS or Fedex.

  • Note that UPS/Fedex typically come between 10am and 6pm, rarely on Saturdays.
  • When packages are received at the front desk, they will be delivered to your condo prior to the close of the business day.

If you do not receive a package that you were expecting, please check your tracking number to confirm it was in fact delivered AND that you provided the correct address upon checkout.

If a package was inadvertantly shipped via USPS:

  • A “delivery” confirmation does not mean that we have received the package. It just means that the package has arrived to the Avon Post Office. We have experienced 1-2 week delays between delivery confirmations and the package actually being available for pickup.
  • If the incorrect address was used, the package may be returned to sender. This can also take 1-2 weeks.
  • There is nothing we can do about this.

Due to the inefficiency of the Avon Post Office, any packages found at the post office will incur a $25 handling fee per package.

Outgoing Packages & Mail

For outgoing packages from Creekside, you will need to box your items up, have a pre-paid label, and schedule a pickup. As a small office, management does not have many shipping capabilities.

  • A UPS Store is located at 150 E. Beaver Creek Blvd A102, Avon, CO 81620.
  • For outgoing mail, you can leave letters at the front desk and management will get them to the post office the next time we go. If something is urgent, we recommend bringing it to the post office.

Your Residence

Check Out is at 10 a.m. Please plan accordingly

At the end of your stay:

  • It is not necessary to remove bed linens.
  • Put all trash in the proper receptacles.
  • Loading and running the dishwasher is not required, but would be helpful.
  • Report any damages or concerns.
  • Check for any of your remaining belongings.

*Please DO NOT start a fire in the fireplace prior to departing on your last day.*

If you would like a late check-out time, you are welcome to check with the front desk, but please be aware that it is subject to availability.

Lost & Found: If you leave anything behind, we are happy to ship the items to you. Note that after 30-days, any items will be donated to a local charity.

In your Condo

Each residence at Creekside is equipped with it’s own individual Wifi connection. You can find your specific login information on a sign inside your condo, generally on the kitchen bar area, or as part of your paperwork from check-in.

WiFi Issues?

If you are having issues with the internet, please unplug the modem from power, leave it unplugged for one minute, and plug it back in. Allow at least 10 minutes for the box to reboot.

This reset should fix any issues, but if not, please contact the front desk during business hours.

*The modem is typically located in the living room near the TV and is a tall/thin Motorola tower. However, sometimes they are located in one of the bedrooms near the TV too.

Common Area Wifi

Wifi is also located throughout lobby, ski club, gym, and meeting/game room. These are individual networks and all begin with “GUEST.” The password is the same for all of these common area networks: CreekGuest1156 (case-sensitive!).

*When connecting to these networks, it is best practice not to ‘automatically reconnect’ to these networks. If you leave that selected, you may end up reconnecting to a very weak signal back in your condo.

For cable television, you should only need the  Xfinity (Comcast) remote control.

  • Press “All On” to power on both the TV and cable device.
  • For a list of channels, press the “Guide” button.

If you are trying to use a Smart TV function (Netflix, Disney+, ect), you may then need the remote to the TV (Samsung, LG, Sony, ect.).

  • Make sure to log out of any app you have logged in to prior to your departure! These apps are used at your own risk and Management is not responsible for your account.

TV (Cable) Issues / Troubleshooting

1. Confirm the TV is set to the right input for the cable.

  • If you have a voice remote, you should be able to press the ‘Xfinity’ button and it should take you to the proper input.
  • The input is typically “HDMI 1,” but can vary. Please toggle all available inputs. Allow 10 seconds or so on each input before moving on to the next.

2. Unplug the cable box from power, leave it unplugged for one minute, and plug it back in. Allow at least 10 minutes for the box to reboot.

Those steps should fix any issues, but if not, please contact the front desk during business hours at (970) 949-7071.

*Please do not leave fires unattended.*

1. Confirm the Damper is Open

It should already be open, but please confirm that the damper is open!! The damper handle is behind the hinged grate on the right. Confirm the handle is UP.

2. Warm the Flue

Light some paper or cardboard on fire and hold it up to the chimney flue in the firebox for a few moments. This can help avoid some smoke inversion when you first light the wood.

3. Start the Fire

We recommend placing 1 piece of wood horizontally. Put 1/4 of fire starter on top. Cross another piece of wood perpendicularly over the first piece and the fire starter and then place another 1/4 piece of fire starter on top of the second log. Light both fire starters.

4. Close the Screen

Close the screen to prevent sparks from flying out of the fireplace.

*As you maintain the fire, we recommend using no more than 4-5 logs at a time.*

5. Once You Are Done…

Once you are done, close the glass doors.

If smoke does backdraft into the condo DO NOT OPEN THE FRONT HALLWAY DOOR! If smoke enters the hallway, the entire building alarm will be set up. Please open windows and balcony doors instead.

Additional firewood may be requested by contacting the front desk at (970) 949-7071.

Laundry

The washer and dryer in your residence are located in the entry bath. When using the dryer, please turn on the exhaust fan to expedite drying. Small ‘starter’ detergents are available at the front desk.

Linens & Housekeeping

Each residence is individually owned and therefore, individually stocked with linen. Your condo should be stocked with enough towels and sheets for your stay.

If you are staying 6 nights or longer, a mid-stay refresh will occur. If you have a preference for the timing of this clean, please alert the front desk of your preference with at least 48-hour notice. Any rescheduling of the refresh may not occur due to a small housekeeping staff.

If you require any kitchen amenities or paper products to be restocked, please alert the front desk.

Checking Out

You are not required to do anything prior to your departure! Our housekeepers will automatically be scheduled for a full clean.

Heat & Heating Controls

Creekside does not have central heating. The heat in each residence is controlled by individual  thermostats in each room. Once a thermostat is adjusted, it may take several hours for the temperature in the unit to adjust, especially if it’s a particularly cold outside.  Most thermostats will also display the current temperature in the room and not the desired temperature you set it to. Please do not report a problem with the heating system until you are certain that the system has had time to adjust fully.

Please note that in the mountains, during major cold snaps, it can be difficult for the heat to keep up!

Air Conditioning

Most mountain residences DO NOT have air conditioning. You’ll want to open all the windows for cross-ventilation, particularly in the evenings to let in the cool mountain air. Note that some thermostats may say “cooling” on them, but the system is not equipped for that feature.

Fire Emergency Procedures:

Creekside is equipped with a very sensitive alarm system throughout the common areas and individual condominiums.

  • If you notice a fire and no alarm has sounded, go to the nearest fire alam pull stations located throughout the property and/or dial 911 to notify the fire department.
  • If you hear the alarm system, please exit the premises immediately through the nearest door that has an “EXIT” sign above it. DO NOT USE ELEVATORS. (Remember your room key!)

If the general building alarms do go off, management cannot legally turn off or silence the alarm, even if we know it is a false alarm. The alarms continue until the fire department deems the property safe and no emergency exists.

If your unit fills with smoke

If your unit fills with smoke from the fireplace or from cooking and the situation is not an emergency, DO NOT OPEN THE ENTRY DOOR TO THE HALLWAY TO LET SMOKE OUT! Opening your front door will set off the general alarm system and cause the fire department to respond. Please open your patio or deck door and your windows to allow the smoke to escape.
