Frequently Asked Questions
Are face coverings and social distancing required? Yes, guests are required to wear face masks and maintain six feet of physical distance while in an indoor space and when interacting with Creekside staff and other guests.
Is housekeeping service available? For guest safety and comfort, daily housekeeping services are not available. For any stay that is 6-nights or longer, a mid-week clean will be included with your stay, but we do require that all guests be out of the residence during the time of service.
Arrival – Checkin / Checkout Information
Where is Creekside located? Creekside is located at 1156 Village Rd, Avon CO 81620 (Beaver Creek Village)
How far is Creekside from the airport? Beaver Creek is an approximate 2 hour drive from Denver International Airport or 40 minutes from the Eagle-Vail Regional Airport.
Where do I check-in and pick up my keys? Check in on site at the property’s front desk. When you pull in to the driveway, you will see the main lobby entrance under the porte-cochere.
What are Creekside’s hours of operation? The front desk is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 7-days a week. Someone is also always on call for any emergencies. (*Note that these hours do change during the spring/fall and the front desk is closed on weekends.*)
What time is check-in? (What time do I need to check out by?) Check in time at Creekside is 4:00 PM and check out time is 10:00 AM. Adjustments to these times can be made, but are based upon availability at the time of the request and are always subject to change. Regardless of what time you arrive or depart, you are more than welcome to use any of the Creekside facilities for the day.
What if I’m arriving after the front desk is closed? How do I check in? Accommodations will always be made! Please alert the front desk if you will be arriving late or are delayed in some way and you will be provided further instructions.
Do you offer shuttle service from the airport? Creekside does not offer its own transportation, but works with Colorado Mountain Express and Big Mountain Transportation, both of which provide service from Denver International and Eagle-Vail Regional Airports. Is parking included with my reservation? Yes! Each condominium is allotted 1 parking spot. Additional parking may be available upon advance request, based on availability, and subject to change There is a $30/day fee for extra parking. Any additional parking will not be assigned until the day of your arrival, but please alert front desk prior to your arrival if you require additional parking. This way, the front desk will be prepared with additional options.
*Note that there is NO camper/RV parking available at Creekside.*
Do I even need a car while at the resort? It depends on what you are looking to do during your stay in Beaver Creek. Many guests rent cars and end up leaving them parked in the garage for the duration their vacation. If you plan on staying within Beaver Creek for your stay, it’s recommended to enjoy the convenience of a shuttle ride and not worry about a car. If you are more adventurous and looking to explore more of what Colorado has to offer, a rental car will be the more convenient option.
What do we do if we’re taking a shuttle to Creekside? Just come and check in like normal, but make sure to not unload your luggage yet! Creekside has two buildings and if you’re staying in the “Birch Building,” the shuttle can be directed to a much more convenient spot to offload luggage.
Skiing & Snowboarding
How far is Creekside from the mountain? Creekside is in the heart of Beaver Creek Village and has ski-in and ski-out access to the Elkhorn Lift (Chair 14). (If you choose to walk to the main Centennial Lift, it’s a 5-8 minute walk.)
I’m looking at the map, but I can’t tell how Creekside is ski-in/ski-out. Creekside is ski out via a small and short skiway to the Elkhorn lift, which is a great access lift to get to either the Strawberry Park or Bachelor Gulch areas of the mountain. At the end of the day, you can ski right to the back door of the property via the Creekside Skiway through Creekside park. These ski ways are very mellow runs, but can be a little narrow – as long as everyone can “pizza,” they’ll be fine! Maps with more detailed instructions are available at the front desk.
Do you provide shuttle service to the ski lifts? Creekside at Beaver Creek does not have its own private shuttle, but resort shuttles will stop in the front driveway every 15 minutes, starting on the hour. These shuttles run daily from approximately 7:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Should I ski in and out or take the shuttle? That’s up to you! Both are convenient and it will depend on what you’re more comfortable with. The shuttle will be faster to reach the Centennial base area, but the ski paths will be more convenient to those just looking to get right on the hill. If you feel ambitious, it is also a simple 5-minute walk [uphill] to that same Centennial base area.
How do we get to ski school? The skier shuttle will be the most convenient way. This shuttle will drop you off at Centennial Station where you will see the base of the Centennial Lift. Ski school meets right there! You can also ski out to the Elkhorn lift to ski school, but by the time the lifts start turning, you will be very rushed and may not make it to your lesson on time.
Does my reservation include housekeeping? You will receive housekeeping during your stay with us unless you received a discounted nightly rate. If daily housekeeping is not included in your reservation, it can be arranged for an additional fee. A mid-stay clean will be provided on any stay that is 6 or more nights. Please contact the front desk prior to your arrival if you require additional housekeeping services.
*Note that daily housekeeping services are currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.*
Can I ship some packages to Creekside prior to our arrival? Of course! The physical address to Creekside is 1156 Village Rd, Avon, CO 81620. Please be aware that the property can only accept UPS or Fedex. DO NOT ship via US Postal Service or you will not receive your package. Please limit the amount of items you send due to the property’s minimal storage space. If you also need to return your items to your home upon your departure, make sure to have a pre-paid shipping label for the package and a pickup scheduled with the shipping service.
I like to read the New York Times every morning. Are copies available? Complimentary Vail Dailys (local paper) are available on request. The Denver Post, USA Today, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal are available at an extra cost. The front desk does not keep these papers on-hand; They have to be ordered in advance. Please alert the front desk in advance if you require additional newspapers beyond the Vail Daily.
I need to print my boarding passes for my flight. Do you have a printer? Of course! There is a public computer with a printer available in the lobby for you to use. Or, feel free to send your boarding passes to the front desk to be printed. email@example.com
Do you accommodate pets? Unfortunately Creekside is unable to accommodate pets. However, there are usually a couple of playful pups in the office that you can visit with!
(Please note: No Pets – Guests are not permitted to bring Pets upon the Creekside Project. Please do not bring a Pet with you as the animal will not be permitted upon the Creekside Project. No refunds or reimbursements of any kind will be issued to a Guest who arrives with a Pet and cannot occupy the Unit as a result. Creekside does permit Service Animals per the Americans with Disabilities Act which is limited to dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. We encourage you to advise Creekside Management of your intention to bring a Service Animal with you in order to facilitate your check-in process. If your disability is not obvious you may be asked if the dog is a service animal required because of a disability and what work or task the dog been trained to perform. Please note that no accommodation will be provided for Assistance Animals. An Assistance Animal” is not a Service Animal. For more information please refer to the entire pet policy here.)
Is the water safe fore drinking? The tap water is perfectly fine to drink and quite tasty.
Can you smoke at Creekside? Creekside is a smoke-free environment and smoking of any kind is prohibited on property.
