American Educational Institute

For over 30 years, the American Educational Institute has provided medical, dental, and legal professionals a unique, 20 hour survey of the intersection of medicine and law as well as selected clinical topics. Through the 2017-2018 Medical-Dental-Legal Update, you will receive 20 hours of vital instruction from national experts in the fields of law, medicine, accounting, financial analysis, pharmacy, law enforcement, and practice management. Their presentations include discussions ranging from fraud and abuse laws, RAC audits, EMR risks and benefits, and medical malpractice, to statin toxicities, radiological misinterpretations, drug-drug interactions, drug diversion, and identifying and managing patients who are victims of domestic abuse. Remarkably, this is just a sampling.

The Update is presented in a structured classroom setting affording you the opportunity for dialogue with your colleagues. The course is approved for up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits as well as extensive CLE and CDE credits.

Classroom hours are 7:30a.m.-9:30a.m. and 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Monday through Friday beginning on November 20, 2017 and ending April 6, 2018.
